Hurricane Sandy comes ashore at Goldthwait Reservation in Marblehead, MA. All in all the storm was not that bad up here in Marblehead. We had a lot of rain and wind but not major damage, at least not off the shore. I wish there was a person in the water so you could get a scale for these waves. They were at least 8-10 feet if not higher. May not sound that high but for this beach that might as well be 20 feet.  To bad there were 40-60 mph wind gust making these waves useless for anything but destruction
