Got up early this morning to get up to New Hampshire before the tide came in and the wind picked up. It was a perfect morning, not too many people out and decent conditions.

I have not taken a skyline shot in a very long time so last night I went out to  Memorial Drive to see if there was anything worth shooting. I felt the city really popped against the blue Charles and sky.  Ill be leaving the city soon and moving to the coast, I have to get in a couple more shots in before I say goodbye to the past 9 years.  The second shot is from Marblehead, MA which I will soon be calling home.

Its been a while since I updated my blog. Its been a hectic month and I've not been out shooting since the last post. Above are a couple shots from The Wall back in December. Looks like winter is all done here and we are heading into the warmer months of the year. The winter was a let down for swells so maybe the spring will be good. All we can do is hope right now.

While on our way back from Sunday River we decided to take a cruise by Jeness Beach to see what was happening.  All the surf reports said flat for Thursday, however it was anything but flat. There were waist to chest sets rolling through. Granted the conditions were not the cleanest I have seen, but with the winter we have had it was definitely surfable. Unfortunately my car was full of skis, a snowboard and 4 pairs of snow shoes and consequently did not contain a surfboard so I was relegated to the shore to snap a couple frames.

So has been the story of this winter, flat spell after flat spell.

The John Hancock building in Boston, MA. When this building was designed the architects decided to make it fade away rather than stand out as to not take away from the beauty of the surrounding area. Because of this reflective blue glass was the ideal material for the building.

It felt like April this morning. I barely needed my gloves and hat which is saying a lot when your at the Boston waterfront at 7 am on January 29th.
