Happy July 4th weekend. This photograph was taken at Marblehead Harbor from the neck.  Marblehead harbor was recently voted one of the best places to watch the July 4th fireworks in the entire United States and although I have not see July 4th fireworks everywhere in the US, I can say Marblehead is one of the nicest places I have seen them. At sundown the perimeter of the entire harbor is illuminated by red flares then each of the yacht clubs fire off a cannon as they take their flag down for the night and finally as the sun sinks below the horizon dozens of boat horns begin to blare as the entire harbor prepares for the show.
