Being in Gloucester, MA in the winter evokes the idea of haunted woods, ghost ships, and other scary things you have seen in movies. I'm no expert on the Witch Trials but I have to believe "witches" were killed by the dozen in this area. This photo taken on a foggy day in December is a perfect representation of the isolation of the Gloucester peninsula (aside from the condominium complex on the right side).
